Home decor — the small things that make a room
This is the collection for the pieces that don't fit anywhere else and yet pull a room together: hand-thrown vases, pure beeswax candles, ceramic jugs, wooden bowls, and the occasional unexpected botanical print. None of it is decorative for the sake of being decorative — each piece earns its place.
We work with small UK makers wherever we can — a chandler in Penrith, a potter in the Borders, a printmaker in Hawkshead — alongside a handful of European studios making pieces we can't find here. Nothing in this collection is mass-produced, and most things are made in batches of fewer than a hundred.
What you'll find
- Vases & vessels — bud vases, stem vases, ceramic jugs in speckled cream and earthen brown.
- Candles — pure beeswax pillars, Cumbrian lavender soy candles, no synthetic fragrance.
- Bowls & trays — olive wood, hand-thrown stoneware, occasional reclaimed pieces.
- Botanical prints & small artworks — fynbos, English wildflowers, framed and ready to hang.
The Cumbrian thread
We're based in Carlisle, on the edge of the Lake District, and a lot of what ends up in this collection has a quiet, fellside sensibility — natural materials, muted colours, nothing trying too hard. If you've ever walked the Old Penrith road in October, you'll know the palette we mean.
