Tableware for the way you actually eat
The fancy dinner set lives in a cupboard. The everyday plates do all the work. Our tableware edit is built for both — pieces beautiful enough to host with, hardwearing enough to use on a Tuesday evening with pasta and a glass of something on the side.
You'll find hand-thrown stoneware in speckled cream and earthen tones, linen napkins, ceramic side plates, serving bowls, and the occasional bit of pre-loved silverware. Most pieces are dishwasher-safe even when they look like they shouldn't be — but you'll find yourself handwashing them anyway, because they're worth it.
What we stock
- Dinner plates & side plates — stoneware, 20–28cm, sold in sets of four or six.
- Bowls — pasta bowls, breakfast bowls, deep serving bowls.
- Mugs & cups — hand-thrown, slightly irregular, the right weight in your hand.
- Linen napkins & runners — heavyweight European linen, in natural, sage and ochre.
- Boards & trays — olive wood for cheese, oak for bread.
Mix, don't match
The most beautiful tables we know aren't sets. They're collections — three shades of cream stoneware, mismatched glassware, linen napkins in different tones. Start with a base (we'd say speckled cream plates) and let everything else build around it slowly.
